Enable Undo on custom toolbox not working on feature service layers?

I've been trying out the new feature to enable the Undo toggle on custom tools in toolboxes mentioned in the blog post https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/analytics/build-custom-tools-in-arcgispro

It definitely works as intended if I test it against a feature that lives in a file geodatabase.

However, if I use it to edit a layer that comes from a feature service (e.g. something from a parcel fabric service), it isn't possible for it to Undo. Even if I use GP tools that can undo in this branch version scenario within the script tool, the undo doesn't work. Is there any way to make this work?

Hi @vincentng_silvacom, the issues you are facing with Enable Undo could be because you are using the default version of the branch versioned feature services. Otherwise, I believe you may be encountering a bug, which can be logged with technical support: https://support.esri.com/en-us/contact

I can confirm that I wasn't on the default version, as the environment I was working in has that locked down. I'll let one of our authorized callers make a support case for this. Thanks!
