Pro Update (Update to 3.5) Service Down

Question for ESRI

Hello, it seems like the update service is down. Can anyone from ESRI inform on the ETA as to when the update will back online?

PS: It would be nice to send do not reply emails to keep users up to date on when issues like these or similar will be resolved.

Typically the update service is temporarily unavailable, it means there's a new update being pushed to ArcGIS Pro. As I'm not on the ArcGIS Pro Development Team, I can only guess it could be a hotfix or an update to ArcGIS 3.5?

Related to an issue found with Pro 3.5 and using SQL in Field Calculator:

"This issue will be addressed in 3.5 Patch 1 (3.5.1), planned to be available the first week of June 2025. Until a patch is available, the software update service will be disabled in ArcGIS Pro. Customers who understand this issue and the workaround can download ArcGIS Pro 3.5 from My Esri."

Thank you for the update. It would be nice that in future ESRI shares an ETA on the fix as to when the update service would be available and the reason behind service down.

It could be in the Pro notification or an automated email.

@George_Thompson What other issues are you aware of with 3.5? Some of us came over shortly after release to get away from 3.3.x & 3.4.x bugs. This is getting a bit silly.

The issues with ESRI products are a cause for concern. Recurring bugs and instability, particularly after updates, hinder effective work with the platform. For instance, problems with SQL functionality add to previous challenges, such as attachment issues. This unreliability undermines confidence in the software and makes it difficult to advocate for GIS solutions within the municipal utility sector. These problems impede progress and create a barrier to securing project funding and adoption. FYI for any one following this topic ArcGIS Pro patch 3.5.1 is now live and good to go. Thank you ESRI for quickly working on this 😊
