topic total area for same study site changes when calculating geometry for LULC time series in ArcGIS Pro Questions

Hello,

After conducting and processing my LULC for a study site between 2001 to 2020 at 5-year intervals, I have noticed that when I calculate geometry for the different interval LULC, the overall total area for these is different with the later intervals of 2015 and 2020 having a much bigger total area. This is despite using the exact study site boundary polygon to clip the raster layers during the process. As a result, I am having wrong figures for my overall change in the study site as a result of this increase on the study site overall area.

Is there someone who might help with this or point out where I am going wrong in the process?
