I don't think there's any need for the Projection if you're certain the data is collected in the right coordinate system. I think there's 3 likely possibilities in my mind:

1. The data isn't collected/recorded in the coordinate system you think. Is there any metadata you can look into for the GPS to be sure?

2. A data collection issue.

3. The correct coordinate system isn't selected at the initial Table To Point stage. Looking at the Maine Coordinate Systems, there seems to be many, including meters/ft.

HI, I am trying to plot RTK-GPS collected data in Maine in ArcGIS Pro.

The coordinate system chosen is UTM-19N, but the data is plotting in Amazon, somewhere in Colombia, South America. I need help to fix wrong positioning of the data.

It's likely your GPS data is captured in decimal degrees and trying to plot it as UTM 19N is putting it in Columbia, probably very close to the origin of UTM 19N in a rather remote location. I would add your data initially using WGS84 (EPSG: 4326) then project to https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/data-management/project.htm

EPSG:32619 (WGS 84) / EPSG:26919 (NAD 83)

Hi, Thank you for your reply.

I tried it, it doesn't work. The data points are not at all visible, even in Zoom to Layer they are not visible.

The initial data is collected in NAD83 Maine W, and its is in meters/ not in degrees.

Have you got a sample of the data? Not much else to go on otherwise. Screenshots are useful also.

Also, It's not visible? I thought it was plotting in Colombia previously.

The data is collected by Leica RTK-GPS and the Leica Rep has checked the data, in their Leica infinity software, using UTM 19, it is plotting in correct location while with same spec in ArcGIS Pro, it is plotting it near Colombia and with NAD83 Maine W, is it plotting near Halifax. The data is collected in meters and I selected meters while plotting in ArcGIS Pro.

I am sharing the data here for your reference
