Hello, I would like to know if there is any chance the option to assign default symbology to feature layers will be coming soon to ArcGIS Pro? It's been promised in the past but nothing yet 😞

Sounds like something that would be easy to implement, layers already always come with a default random symbology.

The main issue is what specifically is currently default. Why ugly pastels for lines and points, that barely show up against the white background? I use symbology a lot for quick analysis, and having to change it back and forth between different categorized options is a pain, specially on large datasets. And when you want to go back to single symbol.. who knew.... back to thinnest lightest yellow line possible.

We already have defaults for graphic elements, why not symbology?
