Are we able to save absolute paths yet?

I see posts from a handful of years ago asking for the option to save absolute paths in a Pro project, but I'm still not finding if it has been implemented. Is there a way to do this? Or have they still not implemented it?

What object are you trying to save that is giving you issue?

A "project"? or something else?

There are times when I want to move my project to a different folder on the same drive. The map data it references is in a folder that doesn't move. If I move the project the links change because they are relative to the project. Being able to toggle between saving relative data paths and absolute data paths used to be a thing in ArcMap, but I'm wondering if that exists (or ever will exist) in Pro.

simply Package your project as if you were going to share it externally

delete your history and any extraneous caches before to get a clean output

Nope.

I'm in the middle of developing a toolbox to get around this, e.g. there's a tool that will move your APRX's folder and correctly repoint all the layers in it. Works pretty well but waiting on testing to be done.
