Hi JohnEsch2,

For these kinds of cases, we recommend using the Range Slider (instead of the Time Slider). It uses a pure numeric field for the filtering UX, and supports the majority of workflows commonly used with time - eg: support in Bookmarks, inclusion in Animation videos, etc).

https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/mapping/range/get-started-with-the-range-slider.htm

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

-Nathan.

I have a numeric field of geological age dates in thousands of years ago for instance 14.5 or 25.6 or 9.3. I would like to use some of the time slider capability in ArcGIS Pro and AGOL, but it appears that the both require your data to be in the standard time or time-date fields. I was able to come up with a work around years ago in ArcMAP but Pro and AGOL don't appear to allow using non time or date time fields.
