Append tool crashing arcGIS pro

I have ArcGIS Pro version 3.4.2.

The "Append" tool crashes the application every time I run it.

Does anyone have any insights?

BUG-000173357 for ArcGIS Pro is the only publically posted bug for 3.4

for 3.2, neither seem directly related

so if you can't find the bug list on the support site, then you would be advised to contact Tech Support since it could be a variant of one or more issues

To see if the problem is aprx based you could create a new aprx using only the catalog setup, and then use the load data option (which will open the apend tool) on the dataset to see if the error still occurs.
