topic How to preserve variable names when using Enrich in ArcGIS Pro Questions

Whenever I enrich a feature, the enriched data loses its variable names and becomes generic, which makes it incredibly hard to analyze. For instance, when enriching with race/ethnicity data, I am choosing Black population (BLACK_CY), Asian (ASIAN_CY), White (WHITE_CY), etc. However, once the feature is enriched, the variable names change to raceandh_1, raceandh_2, raceandh_3, etc. And this happens for all the different variables. It's then impossible to confirm which of the enriched variables are what. Any suggestions? what am I missing?

Thanks!
