Changing source directory for data files in Feature Class layer

How can batch edit the front portion of the source directory for the Shapefile without using the "SET DATA SOURCE" box? I need to keep the file name (*.shp) and preceding folder, but change the drive and path. For ~200 Feature Class Layers

Try right-clicking on the map in Catalog and hitting "Update DataSources"

Then you can hit "Find and replace", enter in what you need, and then hit "validate and apply".

There are other ways to do it with code, but this is pretty user-friendly.
