Now you mention it, 2.9.4 , and I am wondering if our slow migration from 10.9 to 11.3 is the reason for not updating to 3.4

Hi all,

I am trying to add some data from mdb access database to arcgis pro.

Following this manual:

How to Connect Microsoft Access Database to ArcGIS Pro - GIS Tutorial (freegistutorial.com)

However in arcgis pro I can not see anything populated in here:

This might be something to do with 32-bit/64-bit ODBC drivers.

In the 64-bit ODBC admin it says access ODBC is only 32-bit.

I do configure it in the 32-bit admin, but it doesnt show in arcgis pro.

Any idea?

P.S. I can use arccatalog to connect to this same mdb file.

This has been a persisting problem for my organization as we are trying to end all use of ArcMap / Catalog and move to ArcGIS Pro. Unfortunately, using this ODBC connection is not working for the MS Access .mdb or .accdb connections. Yes, we can still open them in Catalog and import the tables into a fgdb but this doesn't allow us to see the updated data being written into the MS Access database.

Is the only solution to this loss of function going to be to use FME workbench?

I seem to remember that connecting to .mdbs was improved in Pro a few years ago. Maybe that happened after your version of Pro. Might be worth investigating.
