If you select the points you can use Calculate Geometry Attributes on them to add correct coordinate values

https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/data-management/calculate-geometry-attributes.htm

I am new to ARCGIS 3.4, and entirely self-taught. I have a well location database. I have determined that a number of the wells have bad UTM coordinates. I have found the original survey locations in aliquot. It has then been possible to use the edit function and move the well symbol to the correct location. However the attribute table does not change coordinates. I would like to replace the old coordinates. I am not sure how to go about this.

You are probably looking for Calculate Geometry:

https://support.esri.com/en-us/knowledge-base/calculate-geometry-in-arcgis-pro-000016157

You can use this tool to get the X and Y coordinates for any point feature.
