I am trying to extract climate zones from<SPAN>&nbsp;</SPAN><A href="https://esri.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=3bfa1aa4cd9844d5a0922540210da25b#overview" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow ugc">World Terrestrial Ecosystems Pro Package</A><SPAN>&nbsp;</SPAN>(*.ppkx) to be able to use them in a Tableau map (*.shp)</P><P>The current file is a raster map and I would need a shapefile to be able to visualize within Tableau.</P><P>My initial approach was using "Raster to Polygon" &gt;&gt;&gt; "Simplify Polygon" and then hopefully Export as *.shp but this has been fairly slow and because the climate areas are not contiguous polygons the results are not great.</P><P>Is there a better way or approach that I'm not thinking of? I don't need to have extreme resolution at the pixel level, just some overall shapes that are closeish to the raster map.
