Hi ESRI community,

I would like to convert some elevation data I collected from Geoid 12B to Geoid 18 and visa-versa. Does anyone know if ArcPRO has this capability and if so, can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Check out https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/imagery/converting-from-orthometric-to-ellipsoidal-heights-pro.htm

You need to create 2 mosaic data sets from the respective geoid models then use raster math to get from G12B down to ellipsoid and again to get up to G18.

As a check, if you have the 12b points in csv you can use the NGS tool to derive ellipsoid height on 12b ( https://www.ngs.noaa.gov/GEOID/GEOID12B/computation.html ) then use their 18 tool to find the math to bring things up to 18 - .https://www.ngs.noaa.gov/GEOID/GEOID18/computation.html.

Regards,

Tom
