Editable layer in arcmap but not arcgis pro

Hi there,

I have a polygon layer in an SDE database that I work with daily. Yesterday I was unable to edit the layer, even though it is marked as editable in the contents window. If I open a new arcgis pro project and attempt to edit I have the same problem. All other layers that are within the same feature dataset in the SDE databse are editable and I have no issues with.

If I open the polygon layer in arcmap, I am able to edit the features without any problems. These edits then appear when opening the layer in arcgis pro. I have my project set up in arcgis pro so would prefer to work there.

As far as I am aware I have not made any changes to the settings of this layer and can't see any difference in settings compared to the other layers in the feature dataset, so can't understand how overnight it suddenly stopped allowing me to edit.

Any help would be greatly apprecieated!

Interesting...for the polgon feature class in question in the Feature Dataset, is it registered as versioned or is it nonversioned?

This one must have been a glitch in the system. About a week later without having tried anything new it returned to its usual functionality and have not had the same issue again since.
