topic How to import polygons from one feature class to a fully customized feature class in ArcGIS Pro Questions

We hired a contractor to set up a geodatabase for us. While they created the feature classes in all their complexities (asset groups, input-dependent relationships, fields, domains, etc.), I created the polygon shapes in another feature class. I have since made the field names and the values the same in the polygon feature class.

My only problem is that I do not know how best to import these polygons into the feature class created by the contractor. I do not want to break any input-dependent relationships. I also don't know how I am going to select an Asset Group when importing these polygons.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Use the Append tool. You can also tweak the field map to match FROM to TO fields.
