Question about Catalog View Pane

I have a question that might be very simple, but ... just want to hear others...

So whenever I open ArcGIS Pro I constantly have to click to open Catalog View Pane whenever I need to use it...

Is there a way around to make it permanent ? I know there are several ways to do it , I would have to click on it and open each time.. Kind of annoyed to me but...

Anyone ?

Or should I put it up in ArcGIS Ideas ??

I am not sure I understand what you are looking for but here a couple of ideas.

When you save a Project with the Catalog View tab open, it reopens with the Project as with any open View such as Map Views, Layout Views, etc.

If you want the Catalog View tab to be open in all new Projects by default, add it to your custom start up Project template(s).

Whatever panes you have open when you close Pro should reopen again the next time you open Pro.

At the risk of being fussy, is this not Project specific and reopens only to the settings of the last Save of the Project? I also find some confusion in the terminology used around the term "pane". In my simple understanding, "panes" have these
and sometimes a ? Views such as Catalog Views do not. Views are associated with a Tab Group. "Views" such as Map, Layout and Catalog have an associated Contents pane. The Tooltips for the icons in the View tab --> Windows group differentiate between a View and a Pane.

It's analogous somewhat to the "layer" <-> "data source" terminology confusion.

I was asking everyone here to see if there is a way to make Catalog View permanently, but yes I know there are ways for me to open several ways.
