Group layer polygon creation

Hello,

I have divided feature classes in to group layers to make them toggle-able for better viewing. Upon creating polygons in the group layer (edit--> create-->polygon under correct group layer--> trace--> finish), the polygon is not appearing in the layer attribute table but is visible on the map. Rather it is somehow being created in a new layer titled ("group layer" (1)).

This new layer is not viewable (and thus not selectable) anywhere in the contents pane either.

I need to add all the field data in the attribute table for a complete polygon record but am unable to as the created poly is cannot be found in any attribute table.

Any help is appreciated. TIA.

Hi Mitch. Can you share some screenshots of Pro? Plus I have some questions...

Is the same feature class added to the map multiple times? Do the layers have def queries, how did you 'divide' the feature classes into layers?
