I don't know if what you are asking is supported, but if not, you could reclass NoData to white as a second step. (Where the alpha channel shows 100% transparency?)

Hi all, I have a question related to using the PDF to TIFF conversion tool in ArcGIS Pro 3.3.1. When I go to convert my plat pdf to tiff, the tiff is created with a transparent background. I know that result is one of the features of using a tiff format, but I was wondering if there is anyway to convert a pdf into a tiff and create one with a white background instead of a transparent one?

Thanks

You can achieve that by using a PDF to TIFF tool that allows you to set the background color during conversion Many online and offline converters have an option to replace transparency with a solid color like white

For example, you could try a tool like Free Pdf to Tiff Converter which lets you convert PDF pages to TIFF or JPG and provides options to control the output appearance including background color This way your TIFFs will have a white background instead of being transparent

Another approach inside ArcGIS Pro is to first export the PDF pages as images (like JPG or PNG) with a white background and then convert them to TIFF This ensures that the transparency is replaced and you retain the visual fidelity of the plat

This method keeps your maps clear and avoids issues that can occur with transparent TIFFs in some GIS workflows
