ArcGIS Pro freeze field width during editing

I have experienced a frustrating issue when editing. I'm editing two feature classes and have both attribute tables open in a horizontal view. I need to see the entire field's content approximately of a column in each table, but as soon as I make an edit, the field snaps back to original width. I have to re-size with every single edit!!!! VERY FRUSTRATING!

Am I missing something, or could you make this an option in next version.

Are you using ArcGIS Pro 2.4.1? Much of the cell resizing is fixed there. There is a remaining bug that should be addressed in Patch 2.

As for freeze column - that will be in ArcGIS Pro 2.5 scheduled for early 2020.
