Bring back the horizontal scroll bar in Catalog pane

As the title suggests: please bring back the horizontal scroll bar in the catalog pane (not the Catalog View). Since ArcGIS Pro 3.2 this scroll bar is missing, which is extremely annoying if you have to navigate to a folder or a file in the depth of your file system. Currently you have to make the pane so wide that you cannot see much of your map. This is extremely annoying!

I know, I created the bug - over almost a year ago. I escalated it. Nothing happened. So no, it is NOT sort of retired. It is really annoying and high time, that esri does something against it! the recommendation of esri support in such cases is to create an esri idea and to get kudos, so that they see it's for more than just one organisation an issue, what I herby did. Again: NOT sort of retired!
