topic Problems with IDW tool in ArcGIS Pro Questions

Hi!

I have a population density raster that I have extracted into points created with Create Fishnet tool (Fig 1.) I have tried to interpolate the data to cover my whole study area but changing power or search radius doesn't change anything when I change the default output cell size (2560). The output rasters are identical no matter what kind of parameters I set (Fig 2.). Only if I change output cell size, I get something that looks a bit more like the result I am needing. Why doesn't the IDW tool work with any other cell size than set by default?

In addition, the output raster has a systematic structure with lower values after every 64 kilometers (those lighter dots in the Fig 3.) Why do I end up with those false values? I have checked the input data several times and there is no structure like that.

I am very grateful if someone could help me!

Fig 1.

Fig 2.

Fig 3.

There are a lot of IDW choices in the geoprocessing pane. Make sure you have chosen IDW (spatial analysis)

I changed the cell size in the pane and it worked using the tool I just mentioned.
