topic Missing Levels in Export Tile Cache geoprocessing tool in ArcGIS Pro Questions

** Using ArcGIS Pro 2.9 **

Context : Using the Manage Tile Cache geoprocessing tool, we create a tile cache up to Level 21 for a very large region. By experience, we know that it is easier to launch the caching tool for only the lowest levels at first (maybe L03 to L17), and to address the higher levels independently afterward. The cache is correctly built for all levels, and we can publish an imagery service from it on an ArcGIS Server.

Problem : We want to create a TPKX with the existing cache. When we use the Export Tile Cache geoprocessing tool, we cannot see any other level other than the last one created (L21).

After investigation, we found out that that the problem is with the conf.properties file of the cache.

The conf.properties file is rewritten every time we cache a new level. Because we generate L21 lastly, both the <Key>MinScale</Key> and <Key>MaxScale</Key> will be at value 282.12429400000002. It is a problem because the Export Tile Cache geoprocessing tool is reading that file to verify what are the available levels.

Solution : As a workaround, manually edit the <Key>MinScale</Key> of the conf.properties file to reintroduce all the existing levels in the Export Tile Cache geoprocessing tool window.
