Maybe is using the GPU? If you are working in a VM, could be difficult to see that usage.

Hi at all,

I'm converting some extruded features to 3D features and was wondering why it takes so long.

Looking at the taskmanager, I can see that ArcGIS Pro is using none of the ressources.

CPU and Disk are "ideling".

Why is ArcGIS not using the ressources of my machine?

There are only 70k features to convert, which should be done in under 10 min.

Now he did like 10% in 20 minutes...

Nope, the gpu is also "ideling".

And all computation is done locally, no network shares or stuff like this.
