Cannot open folder/ file explorer not popping up

After I click the Browse button when creating a project (see screenshot), or if I try to add folder connection, the windows file explorer is not popping up, nothing is showing up, it seems to have difficulty loading. That's really weird, I never run into this problem before, other functions seem to be working fine, and I just updated arcgis pro and restarted my pc a couple of times. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Hi there,

When you do create a new project, is anything getting written to that default directory? (i.e. C:\...\ArcGIS\Projects )

Yes, I can create a project in the default location, I can see the new folder there

Never mind, I tried again at home, and the problem seems to be fixed. It was probably just a glitch? Thank you for helping!
