Georeferencing CAD file Issues (blinking active/ grey Define Projection/ Georeference )

Good day,

I'm trying to georeference a CAD file but every time I select a "child" layer within the CAD layer groups and then go to the CAD layer/ Manage tab near the top - the two key alignment buttons - Define Projection and Georeference are blinking constantly between active/ not active (coloured and greyed. see attached). You are not able to click on either of them.

I've been successful doing this process using CAD and tiffs in ArcMap Desktop before. However, I need to be able to do this in Pro with CAD.

The coordinate system has already been set for the map. The issue remains after restarting the workspace as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Aaron,

Unfortunately I have not been able to resolve the issue. It has been some time since I've revisited my attempts and now I have moved on to other things. If/ when I revisit and do find a solution I'll be sure to post it here.

ArcDesktop (not Pro) could be an alternative. I did not have the same issue.
