topic Line Density - consider lengths of lines only within cell raster in ArcGIS Pro Questions

Hi,

I have a query on the Line Density Tool.

As per How Line Density works—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation, the line density considers the length of each line falling within a circle drawn (with the search radius parameter value being the radius of the circle) around the center of each raster cell.

Is it possible to get the Line Density tool to work such that it considers only the lengths of all line features within each raster cell, i.e. not within in a circular neighborhood around the raster cell but just within the exact boundaries of the raster cell?

Would this require a customized approach/scripting and how could that be done?

Thanks for your help.
