topic Use Catalog Pane to enter input parameter in GP tool in ArcGIS Pro Questions

ArcGIS Pro 3.2.2:

In the Catalog Pane, I right-clicked a table and chose Load Data.

The Append tool opens. I want to easily enter the Input Datasets parameter:

I'd previously navigated to the data I want to load in the Catalog Pane. So I don't want to bother with navigating to the input data again in the Append browse dialog. And it would be ideal if I didn't need to drag the Catalog item to Contents, and then drag the Contents item to the Append tool.

Is there a way to directly use the Catalog Pane to enter the Input Datasets parameter in the Append tool?

It looks like the answer is yes.

In the Catalog Pane, I can right-click an item and choose Copy Path.

C:\...\New Mobile Geodatabase_1.geodatabase\main.TABLE_A

And then paste that path into the Append —> Input Datasets parameter. It seems to work.
