topic Convert Polygon slices to 3D model in ArcGIS Pro Questions

Hi all, I'm relatively new to ArcGIS and am after a workflow if possible please. I have a series of plan views showing archaeological units exposed during a progressive excavation. We took a trench down in 10cm levels so I can represent the archaeological units at the start of each 10cm level as a series of polygons in the trench outline. The units are coded, e.g. units 1 to 4. The extent of these units changes at the start of each level. I've tried searching for a way of taking these 2D slices made up of polygons and building a 3D model by linking (interpolating) the unit polygons between the 10cm slices. I've watched a tutorial on converting bore hole date to 3D model but its not quite right (extract vertices of polygons and depth field to create 3D points - Kriging tool - voxel layer).

Any thoughts?

Cheers
C
