I am doing so as part of a QA process for 3d models (.3ds) produced by someone other than myself. I have the models stored as a multipatch within a geodatabase and each individual model represents a building or structure within a city.</P><P>One thing in particular I'd like to check for is&nbsp;reverse faces, i.e. the external face of the model may be pointed inwards...can be tested using the normal.</P><P>I have noticed the "Check Geometry" tool but this appears to be intended for 2D geometries. Can anyone shed light on this?
