Hello Pro Team,

It appears we may have discovered an issue. When exporting a pro layout with gradient fill, the export does not visualize correctly. After further testing it appears the issue is Gradient Fill with one transparent color and "Absolute Extent" on. Please see image below for settings and issue:

Thank you,

Amanda Huber

Hi, @Amanda__Huber! I just encountered the same issue in Pro 3.3, so apparently it's not fixed yet. Are you still experiencing the issue? Did you find a workaround?

I tried setting the gradient fill extent to "Relative," and that seemed to work for the PDF, but it made the legend item turn into a simple thin line with no visible gradient (sort of like what happened to the Absolute Extent gradient fill looked in the PDF). So for now I'm having to duplicate the layer in the legend and use the absolute one for the legend and the relative one for the map. Please let me know if you've come up with a less janky solution! 🙂

Hello, still experiencing issues with 3.5.3 . I am attempting to display a line feature with the Gradient Line symbology option. While the PDF export shows the gradient symbology correctly, it breaks/warps the geometry of the line feature in the PDF which it doesn't do with simpler line symbology. I receive an export warning that "Capability not supported in export format, some content is being rasterized" and then the geometry shows breaks in the line and incorrectly shifts features. Is there any way to reopen this bug?
