Map Language Issue

I am having an issue with my Map language settings. Despite all the panels and controls in ArcGIS Pro being i English, the map labels are all in Arabic (I am based in UAE). However, my Windows display language is in English. I am having difficulty trying to change the map language.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

It sounds like you might have an Arabic basemap added. Also, locale settings on your computer can affect number and date formatting, although they shouldn't change labels.

Hi Aubri,

Thank you for your reply. I am new to ArcGIS (as you may have assumed), how would I check the language for my basemap? Or change the basemap so that the default is in English?

Appreciate any advice/support that you can provide.

I found a post here that provides some ideas on how to change it https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-urban-questions/basemap-language/td-p/470879. You could also try search for and adding a basemap directly from Living Atlas https://livingatlas.arcgis.com/en/browse/?q=street%20view#q=street+view&d=2 that has English labels.
