Importing XY Data from XLSX Was Creating Extra Fields

Hello,

I was running into an issue when trying to import data from an XLSX sheet into a project in ArcGIS Pro 3.1 by using the "XY Table to Point" tool. For some reason, the attribute table for the output had 10+ extra blank fields added to the table. I restarted ArcGIS Pro and reran the tool with a CSV, and it worked fine (no extra fields added). When I went to re-run the tool for the XLSX file to get a screen grab to post the issue here, it ran just fine.

Has anyone had this happen to them before, and is there a solution? Or is this a bug that restarting the program fixes?

You have empty non-visible space in your Excel sheet. Select all non-filed columns (ten or more), delete it, save file and then use "XY Table to Point".
