Hyperlink to a folder

Is there a way to create a hyperlink to a folder? I have a feature attribute that has a file path to a folder. It seems the only way to enable hyperlinks, through Project> Options> Application> Security, is if the attribute contains a file extension. In my case there is no file to open, just a folder in file explorer.

someone else reported it, and it is noted as a bug

you can subscribe to it to get notifications regarding its status

Cool. Thanks @DanPatterson ! Didn't realize it was a bug... it just seemed impossible since it wasn't even an option.
