Attribute table with clipped raster

I am trying to clip a Raster (landcover) with a polygon. The raster has an attribute table but when I clip (Raster Clip in Data Management) the resulting raster only has the cell value and Count. Have seen a post about making/copying an attribute table but is there not a way to do it in one step. What is the best way to do this?

Where was the destination raster directed?

Instead of using the Clip Raster GP tool, I'd recommend using the Extract by Mask (Spatial Analyst) GP tool as the help say - "Additional attributes from the input raster, if any, will be carried over as-is to the output raster attribute table. Depending on the property being recorded, some of the attribute values may need to be recalculated." So it sounds like it will preserve the Raster Attribute Table of the input raster dataset.

Sorry - I got no notification anyone had answered and when looking at the overview of my posts under my profile it also indicated there were 0 replies....

But just tested the Extract by Mask and that is exactly what I needed, so thanks for pointing me towards that.
