How to copy and paste one feature into another?

In ArcMap, you can make a selection on a Feature Class A, click copy and paste the selected features into Feature Class B.

In ArcGIS Pro, this doesn't seem to work. When I copy the selected features and attempt to paste the feature it simply makes a copy of the whole feature class, and "Paste Special" is disabled.

Hi, Craig.

One simple thing you can check is to make sure the Feature Class B is an editable layer. Look for the pencil icon from the contents table. If editing is disabled there, you won't be able to copy/paste into it.
