Hey all. I'm struggling with a LAS dataset to which I had to guess the coordinate system. The additional files that came with the las file itself only say GCS_WGS_1984. When converting into a LAS dataset, I put it into the State Plane coordinate system for Hawai'i Zone 3. However, the "footprint" still shows that it is over a default location in the Atlantic, when I know the location should be elsewhere. However, I know that the vendor pulled out this dataset using a shapefile over the actual area we wanted. So, how do I combine the shapefile with the las dataset and get the correct spatial reference so I can proceed with classification and raster creation?

Thanks!
