topic Find Point Clusters in ArcGIS Pro Questions

Hey everyone,

I'd like to use the "Find Point Clusters" tool for a point layer in one of my projects. The Layer I use is based on WGS 1984, a geographic coordinate system. The tool only works with a projected coordinate systems.
Is there a similar approach possible with a geographic coordinate system?

For the moment, I use the WGS Web Mercator (auxiliary sphere) as the output coordinate system. The results look fine to me but could I run into future problems?

Best regards
Lars

You might want to use a different projected coordinate system if the east west extent isn't too large.

Web mercator shouldn't be used for anything involving distance or area measures
