Some of the images I do not currently have permission to access, when I try to open these I get a blank layer - no image, but also no error message etc. The layer name exists though.</P><P>I want to bulk test my permission for each image in the WMS service. I have a footprint file so I can use arcpy to loop through each image name and (try to) open the image.</P><P>Is there in way in arcpy to determine whether a WMS image has actually opened or not? I tried using function arcpy.management.GetCellValue(), but it just crashes ArcGIS Pro immediately.
