Red Exclamation Mark

Hello I need some help with ArcGIS pro on the desktop, all my layers have a red exclamation mark and when I try and fix the broken source there is nothing in the folders, If I try and make a new project it says that all the folders are empty

any help would be realy appreciated,

if nothing there works, you will need to confirm that the data actually exists and can be used in a new empty project

The data dose exists, I have it on one drive, my computer and an external drive, it is also in different formats as some were not able to see the lat and long, but when I make a new project there is nothing in the folders

Use Catalog, find a folder containing some data and expand it. Geodatabase and operating system folders are shown below

drag one of the geodatabase layers onto the map, its name should appear in the table of contents

If the data doesn't shown on the map, right-click on the layer and select zoom to layer and try opening its table

The data dosnt appear in the list, those are just the ones that show up in the folders

The ones with the red exclamation marks can't be found, so if they aren't in the Catalog view, then you can't associate them with the ones in your project. You will have to find the data, presumably on the computer that you created it on. I hope that you have a backup on a local drive and aren't relying on cloud storage or something like that.

So in short... if you can't find the data in Catalog, or you can't connect to another folder or data source in catalog to locate the data, then you can't use it. Keep searching and connecting to locations in catalog until you find it

In the future "Package" your projects so you have a working copy as a backup

So I have a copy of the data on one drive (on my computer), in this PC and on an external hard drive, do I have to put it somewhere else for it to see it again?

I didnt create the data its collected from 10 years at another company (not my data)

In regards to the packaging, I have read through the link but im unsure how to package my project, is it just saving it in a different format?
