Hi Community,

I have a colleague who has a very large ArcGIS Pro aprx (v2.9.10) with four map windows and two layout windows. The map windows have 50+ layers in them. The data is all sorts of types; grids, images, feature layers, vector tiles, basemaps... The user needs access to all the data to regularly check hazard exposure for properties and locations. However, perhaps unsurprisingly, the aprx is painfully slow to load and use.

I'm looking for any tips or pointers to content about how to optimize the performance of large aprx files. I'm aware of using vector tiles and display scales but I'm sure there must be lots of ideas out there for things that you have done that have improved the performance of your aprx significantly when you have a lot of data in them?

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

Derek from NZ
