    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.esri.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/717991"&gt;@KanjMadi1&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think you can accomplish what you want by setting constraint on the inset/overview map frame and set the intersecting layer to be the "big plot" layer.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here is an example using US State as the "bigger" polygon layer and US counties as the "smaller" polygons. The map series index layer is the smaller polygon counties layer. In the layout the "main" map frame - which sets the extent for each country feature - is at the top and the inset/overview map frame is at the bottom as you can see in the following screenshot.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Screenshot.PNG" style="width: 690px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.esri.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/80810iC84BEDD955D7D092/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="Screenshot.PNG" alt="Screenshot.PNG" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The element pane (right side of the screenshot) shows the map constraint properties for this map frame.       <description>&lt;P&gt;hi everyone.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;have&amp;nbsp;a big plots containing many smaller plots the smaller plots defined with plot IDs in a map series, and displays an extent indicator plan,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;how can i show in the extent indicator plan the big plot that contain the plot showing in the map&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;please&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;i need help with this.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
