I have a feature set that is versioned. I made changes to the set. One of the feature classes I created was derived from a feature set that was already existing in the feature set. That newly created feature cannot change to versioning. The original layer is not having that issue. The complete error message reads:

RegisterAsVersioned: Error 160558: Operation not supported on a table that is moving edits to base.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Hello @CrystallSalmon , taking the error message at face value, it would seem to relate to the Move Edits to Base setting on your Feature Class or Feature Dataset. Perhaps you have some unexpected mix of items where some have this set and some do not ?
