Both from the command line using the conda command, and through the package manager in ArcGIS Pro, whether trying to update packages or install any package, it says "Collecting package metadata (current_repodata.json): ...working... " and then fails. From the command line, that is the last message and then it goes back to the prompt.

I'm on Windows 10 and I can't seem to update or add any packages. When I try through the Package Manager GUI it spins for awhile and then has the failed icon in the Tasks box.

The output is always:"Collecting package metadata (current_repodata.json): ...working... "

I've cloned the environment, multiple times, tried running as admin, and even using conda from command line it always gets hung at this same spot. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled ArcGIS Pro.

Anybody know how to fix this?

Thanks!

It would help to indicate what you are trying to add. It sounds like a dependency issue that is taking a while to resolve.

If you don't care that you may break some Pro functionality to get what you need, you can "pip" install the package(s) you need
