topic Feature Drawing Order in published Map Image Layer in ArcGIS Pro Questions

In ArcGIS Pro, I set a polygon feature layer's symbology to have a feature drawing order based on a field. This works great in ArcGIS Pro. However, when I publish it out as a Map Image Layer, the feature drawing order is not honored, but defaults to the default geodatabase order. Is it possible to get the Map Image Layer to honor the feature drawing order set in ArcGIS Pro?
