I was using a small 32GB hard drive to hold 3 of these very large ASCII files. Once I moved them to a large 2TB drive - it worked! I am working on a species distribution modeling project for class. I ran Maxent models using environmental layers with very high resolution. Thus, all of the output ASCII files are very large, about 4.2 GB. I have tried loading them into ArcPro but nothing seems to be working. I get stuck on the "Loading data" screen and it never moves past it. I even let it run overnight till around noon today and it sill had not loaded.
