Tools automatically populate tool parameters with previously used values, which tools?

Hello all,

I'm using 3.1.1.

In the New at 3.0 info https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/3.0/get-started/whats-new-in-arcgis-pro.htm under Productivity it states: "Certain tools that you open from the ribbon, toolbars, and other locations automatically populate tool parameters with previously used values."

Which "Certain tools" are these?

I really needed this functionality this week with the Map Ribbon - Select by Location tool. Alas, Pro never remembered the Selecting Features value and I had to reset it every time. Probably around 50 times, I would estimate.

Help!

try the History tab, select something from history, right-click, open... I use it often

There is loads of other things you can do with History... just a right-click away

@DanPatterson ooh you're right. I always forget about the History tab. I have it open now and I tested it for this work flow and it works. I'll try to retrain my brain - thank you for the tip.
