I just checked and it seems like it will do the job (and a few more things!). Awesome thanks!

Hi,

Is there a way to make a layer package or map package that only includes the polygons within the map frame shown in the layout view (i.e. anything that is outside the map frame is clipped)?

Using ArcGIS Pro 3.1.1

Thanks!

Al

You can see the tool parameters here https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/data-management/package-layer.htm

"Current Display Extent" is listed as an option for the "Extent" parameter. I've not tried it myself but the documentation indicates that it does clip the data as you require. I'd recommend you try it out on a few small sample layers first.
