      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have Legend which I made in Excel to use in an ArcGIS Pro map.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Have you tried turning "Gridlines" off under the View menu in Excel before copying and pasting into ArcPro&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;In addition to Luci's suggestion, you may also want to give the cells, in Excel, a white fill.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
