I'm using the Batch Import Data tool to import KML, KMZ and GPX files from the field. It doesn't work with a text*.ext filter, but works fine with a *text.ext filter. It works the same for all file types.

Example: I want to import "filename.kml" that I want to import and I use "*name.kml" as the filter, it works just fine. But if I use "file*.kml" no sourcefile is found and the import doesn't work.

I'm using ArcGIS Pro version 3.1.1 on Windows 11. Normally I would just adjust the filter and move on. But all the files I'm working with have a project-date format so I need to use the "project*.kml" format.

Any ideas on how to get around this? Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks!
